 Core Responsibilities

As an Airframe Technician at Wysong, you will be central to our maintenance operations. Your daily duties will focus on:

  • Performing detailed maintenance, inspections, and repairs on helicopter airframes to meet strict aviation standards.
  • Assisting with the safe removal and installation of major airframe components and systems.
  • Fabricating and repairing metal and composite parts as required by technical specifications.
  • Accurately reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to guide all work.
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and company quality assurance procedures.
  • Collaborating with a team of skilled technicians and mechanics to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Your Background and Skills

We are looking for a technician who combines formal knowledge with practical skill. The ideal candidate will possess:

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience performing maintenance and repairs on aircraft airframes.
  • The ability to read, understand, and apply complex technical documents, manuals, and blueprints.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools, precision instruments, and shop equipment.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • The physical ability to perform demanding work, including lifting, climbing, and working in various positions.

Preferred Credentials (A Strong Plus):

  • A valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
