Core Responsibilities
As an Airframe Technician at Wysong, you will be central to our maintenance operations. Your daily duties will focus on:
- Performing detailed maintenance, inspections, and repairs on helicopter airframes to meet strict aviation standards.
- Assisting with the safe removal and installation of major airframe components and systems.
- Fabricating and repairing metal and composite parts as required by technical specifications.
- Accurately reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to guide all work.
- Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and company quality assurance procedures.
- Collaborating with a team of skilled technicians and mechanics to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Your Background and Skills
We are looking for a technician who combines formal knowledge with practical skill. The ideal candidate will possess:
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience performing maintenance and repairs on aircraft airframes.
- The ability to read, understand, and apply complex technical documents, manuals, and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools, precision instruments, and shop equipment.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail in all tasks.
- The physical ability to perform demanding work, including lifting, climbing, and working in various positions.
Preferred Credentials (A Strong Plus):
- A valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Direct hands-on experience with helicopter maintenance and airframe systems.
- Fabrication experience with both metal and composite materials.
