Key Responsibilities
Passenger Service and Customer Operations:
- Assist passengers with general customer service inquiries, flight information, boarding procedures, check-in requirements, and all other passenger-facing service needs that arise during counter, departure, and arrival operations at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, applying the genuine hospitality, patience, and service professionalism that a five-star international airline’s ground operations standard requires in every passenger interaction
- Perform and coordinate all functions related to passenger processing at the check-in counter, departure gate, and arrival hall including check-in document verification, seat assignment, baggage acceptance and tagging, boarding pass issuance, gate boarding management, and arrival passenger facilitation in full compliance with EVA Airways’ operational procedures and applicable TSA and airport authority security requirements
- Assist passengers experiencing misconnections, flight cancellations, or significant delays with rebooking options, accommodation coordination, meal voucher distribution, and all other applicable passenger care and recovery actions in accordance with EVA Airways’ irregular operations procedures and applicable passenger rights requirements
- Meet embarking and disembarking passengers at the gate or aircraft door and provide attentive, personalized assistance to passengers who require special assistance including unaccompanied minors, passengers with reduced mobility, elderly travelers, and any other passengers who have requested or require additional support during the boarding or deplaning process
Flight Documentation and Ramp Coordination:
- Complete all documentation required to clear aircraft upon arrival and departure including load sheets, passenger manifests, weight and balance documentation, dangerous goods declarations, and any other flight operational paperwork required by EVA Airways’ standard operating procedures and applicable aviation regulatory requirements for international flight operations at SeaTac
- Prepare all flight operation related documentation accurately and on time throughout every shift, ensuring that all required records are completed, verified, and submitted to the appropriate internal and external parties before each departure deadline to support safe and on-time flight performance
- Ensure the ramp area is clear and fully prepared for safe flight operations before every aircraft arrival, coordinating with ground handling service providers and airport authority personnel to confirm that all ramp safety requirements are met and that no hazards, unauthorized equipment, or personnel are present in the designated aircraft movement and parking areas
- Supervise service providers engaged in ramp operation activities in accordance with airport authority requirements and EVA Airways’ standard ramp handling procedures, ensuring all ground handling activities including aircraft towing, fueling, catering, cleaning, baggage loading and unloading, and equipment positioning are conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable ramp safety and operational standards
Operational Coordination and Communication:
- Coordinate with the airport authority regarding all flight operational handling requirements, permissions, slot management, gate assignments, and any other airport authority interactions required for the smooth and compliant operation of EVA Airways’ scheduled flights through Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
- Coordinate with relevant departments within EVA Airways and with outside vendors to fulfill all operational tasks associated with each flight’s departure and arrival cycle, including liaison with the cargo operations team on cargo loading and safety documentation, communication with the catering supplier on meal delivery timing, and coordination with the cleaning and maintenance crews on aircraft turnaround readiness
- Coordinate with the cargo operation team throughout the flight cycle to support flight safety and on-time departure performance, ensuring that cargo loading information, weight and balance data, and dangerous goods documentation are accurately communicated and reconciled between the passenger service and cargo operations functions before each departure
