Key Responsibilities

Working in our Hot End forming department, you will play a critical hands-on role in our manufacturing process. Your key duties will include:

  • Safely operating and monitoring I.S. (Individual Section) Forming Machines to produce glass containers.
  • Conducting regular inspections, performing adjustments, and troubleshooting to maintain product quality and machine efficiency.
  • Assisting the Job Change Team with mould changes and machine set-up for new production runs.
  • Rigorously checking product quality against specifications to ensure all output meets our high standards.
  • Strictly adhering to and promoting all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate production records and communicating effectively with your team and shift manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for a reliable professional who thrives in a physically demanding, precision environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience operating machinery in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Experience in a similar hot environment (e.g., steel, foundry, glass) is highly advantageous.
  • A strong mechanical mindset; a Mechanical Trade certificate is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail for quality control and defect analysis.
  • The physical capability and resilience to work in a fast-paced, warm environment for 12-hour shifts.
  • The ability and willingness to work a rotating 12-hour roster (2 days, 2 nights, then 4 days off).
  • A reliable, team-focused attitude with solid communication skills.
  • An unwavering commitment to safety.

    Experience: 7 years industrial experience not operated bottle making machine but have relevant experience little training make me a good operator.
