This role is central to ensuring the safety, functionality, and presentation of station facilities across our responsible line(s). Key Responsibilities
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the direct maintenance of critical station assets. Your core duties will include:
- Leading a small team to perform and oversee maintenance activities for Architectural, Builder Works and Finishing (ABWF), Plumbing and Drainage (P and D) systems, and civil assets.
- Ensuring all maintenance work is carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
- Monitoring the performance and safety of maintenance contractors on site and coordinating corrective and remedial (C and R) works.
- Assisting in the preparation and upkeep of essential maintenance documentation related to safety, quality, and environmental protocols.
- Providing hands-on technical expertise and effective supervision to your team.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with one of the following profiles:
- A Higher Diploma-Higher Certificate in Mechanical-Electrical-Electronic or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- A Diploma-Certificate in the above fields (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or 2 years of post-apprenticeship experience.
- Candidates with extensive practical experience but lower formal qualifications will also be seriously considered.
- Strong communication and supervisory skills are essential.
- You must be willing and able to perform shift duties, including work on weekends and public holidays as required by operational needs.
