We are looking for a Building Maintenance Technician with at least three years of relevant experience to join our facilities management team. You will troubleshoot and repair building systems, service pumps and valves, assist with equipment installation, and maintain fire and life safety systems. This is a hands-on, site-based role requiring mechanical and electrical aptitude, familiarity with building automation systems, and the ability to respond to emergencies and customer requests professionally. Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform repairs on building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical devices, mechanical components, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist with installation, modification, and upgrade of building equipment and systems as assigned.
• Evaluate maintenance operations and make recommendations for system improvements, energy savings, and operational efficiencies.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and customer service requests with professionalism and a sense of urgency.
• Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems, including fire alarm panels, fire pumps, sprinkler systems, and related protection equipment.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governing agency requirements, and company directives related to building operations.
• Practice safe work habits at all times and adhere to established safety guidelines and procedures.
• Use smart phones, tablets, web-based applications, and building automation systems for work orders, documentation, and system monitoring.
• Maintain a neat, clean appearance and comply with the uniform dress code while on site.
• Perform other duties consistent with the role as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience with pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and hydraulic devices.
• Familiarity with fire alarm systems, fire pumps, and related fire protection equipment is required.

Technical Skills:

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems systematically and efficiently.
• Competent in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Comfortable using smart phones, tablets, and web-based applications for work order management and building automation system interaction.
• Working knowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices.
