Key Responsibilities
You’ll be the backbone of the site team, making sure everything runs smoothly and safely.
- Assist qualified tradespeople carpenters, plasterers, concreters with daily tasks to keep projects moving
- Move, load, and organise materials, tools, and equipment around the site as needed
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free work environment at all times
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and senior crew members promptly and accurately
- Support general site operations, from site setup to pack-down and cleaning
- Work safely and proactively, spotting and reporting potential hazards
Qualifications
We’re looking for people with the right attitude. Experience is a bonus, but reliability is non-negotiable.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Have a strong work ethic and take pride in showing up ready to work
- Are physically fit and comfortable with manual, hands-on labour
- Can follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Are reliable, punctual, and take direction well
- Have a positive, can-do attitude no job is beneath you
You must be able to:
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Pass a criminal history check
It’s preferred if you have:
- A valid Site Safe passport
- Previous labouring experience on construction sites
No Site Safe ticket? No problem if you’re the right person, we can point you in the right direction to get one.
