Key Responsibilities
As a key operator in our 24-7 Command Centre, you will be responsible for a diverse range of critical tasks, including:
- Actively monitoring live CCTV feeds and responding swiftly and appropriately to security breaches, alarms, and unauthorised activities.
- Accurately configuring and reviewing camera systems, setting up alert zones, and scheduling alarms to optimise surveillance coverage.
- Proactively troubleshooting and reporting offline cameras and system faults to maintain operational integrity.
- Managing and reporting data from automated systems, such as number plate recognition technology.
- Maintaining meticulous logs and reports of all incidents, actions taken, and communications in our digital diary system.
- Utilising radio, telephone, and access control systems to communicate effectively with on-site officers, clients, and emergency services when required.
- Following strict client protocols and company procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- A minimum of 12 months of previous experience in a control room or security operations centre environment.
- A current NSW Class 1E Security Licence is essential.
- The flexibility and willingness to work a rotating 24-7 roster across three daily shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus over extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to implement solutions calmly under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and professional phone manner.
- Proficiency with MS Office and the aptitude to quickly learn new proprietary software and systems.
- Full working rights in Australia and the ability to pass a comprehensive criminal history check.
