Key Responsibilities
You will be the trusted face of Newtech on the road, ensuring our products reach their destination in perfect condition. Your core duties will include:
- Safely and efficiently delivering Newtech bathroom products directly to construction sites and customers across Central Otago, including occasional trips to Wānaka.
- Carefully loading and unloading products with respect for the goods and the customer’s property.
- Following daily run sheets, delivery instructions, and all health & safety procedures meticulously.
- Keeping the company van clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.
- Communicating clearly and proactively with the Cromwell depot team regarding delivery progress, timing, or any on-site issues.
- Attending the Cromwell depot as required for vehicle loading, coordination, and handovers.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable and professional individual with the following attributes:
- A full, clean New Zealand Driver Licence (Class 1 minimum).
- Proven reliability, excellent judgement, and a strong sense of responsibility—you will be trusted with a take-home vehicle.
- Physical capability to handle delivery tasks, including some lifting and carrying.
- Confidence driving in varied Central Otago conditions, including winter roads, with occasional early starts.
- A calm, professional manner and strong communication skills.
- Ability to pass licence validation and any required background checks.
- Must be based in Cromwell or Queenstown.
