Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be the face of Newtech on the road, ensuring our products arrive safely and on time. Your key duties will include:

• Delivering Newtech products directly to construction and renovation sites across Central Otago.
• Carefully loading and unloading products with respect for the goods and the customer’s site.
• Following daily run sheets and delivery instructions accurately while adhering to all safety procedures.
• Maintaining clear communication with the Cromwell depot team regarding schedules and any on-road issues.
• Keeping the company van clean, tidy, and in a presentable condition at all times.
• Attending the Cromwell depot as needed for loading, coordination, and vehicle handovers.

Qualifications

We are looking for a responsible individual who can be trusted with our vehicles and our reputation. The ideal candidate will have:

• A full, clean New Zealand Driver Licence (Class 1 minimum).
• Proven reliability, excellent judgement, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• The physical capability to handle typical delivery tasks, including some lifting and carrying.
• Confidence driving in various Central Otago conditions, including winter roads.
• A calm, professional manner and clear communication skills.
• The ability to pass any required licence validation or background checks
