 Key Responsibilities

You will be the essential support that keeps our practice running smoothly and our patients feeling cared for. Your day-to-day will include:

• Preparing and sterilising instruments and ensuring all treatment rooms are fully stocked, clean, and ready for each patient.
• Assisting our dentists chair-side during a variety of procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring a seamless workflow.
• Performing basic clinical tasks such as taking dental impressions, applying topical anaesthetics, and placing temporary fillings.
• Providing a warm welcome to patients, managing appointment bookings, and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Delivering outstanding customer service, addressing patient questions with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude and a heart for service. The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is valued, but we welcome applications from all experience levels.
• A Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and collaborate effectively with the dental team.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards in a busy environment.
• A caring, compassionate nature and a proactive approach to patient care.
• Proficiency with dental software and technology.
• Availability to work occasional rotated Saturdays, with full penalty rates applied.
