About the Role
The Bell Attendant is essential to crafting a memorable guest experience from the very first moment. You will ensure a seamless and welcoming arrival process, provide helpful information, and assist with luggage and transportation. Your role is to anticipate needs, offer genuine hospitality, and ensure every guest feels valued and well-cared for throughout their stay, upholding our high standards of service and safety.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your day will be dynamic, focused on personal interaction and attentive service. Key duties include:
- Warmly greeting guests upon arrival, escorting them to their rooms, and explaining room features and hotel amenities.
- Safely transporting guest luggage to and from rooms, vehicles, and the storage area.
- Assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage from vehicles and providing clear directions.
- Arranging transportation (taxis, shuttles) and managing advance requests.
- Proactively providing information about hotel services, operating hours, and local attractions.
- Maintaining a constant presence, ensuring property security by monitoring premises.
- Upholding impeccable standards in uniform and personal presentation.
- Collaborating effectively with all team members to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
The Skills
To excel in this active service role, you will need:
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness to stand/walk for extended periods and to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs independently (and heavier items with assistance).
- The ability to move quickly and efficiently, including on stairs, ramps, and uneven surfaces.
- A keen eye for detail, professionalism, and a polished appearance.
- Reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well within a team.
- The capacity to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
