This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be trained to operate manufacturing equipment and contribute to the production of precision components. Key Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you will be an essential part of our production process. Your core duties will include:
- Operating various manufacturing and cutting equipment safely and efficiently after training.
- Reading work orders and technical drawings to ensure products meet precise specifications.
- Measuring parts accurately using tools like calipers and tape measures.
- Preparing, inspecting, labelling, and packing finished products.
- Selecting, moving, and handling materials, including lifting items up to 25lbs.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area and completing necessary production paperwork.
- Working effectively both under supervision and independently as needed.
Qualifications
We are looking for a motivated individual who embodies a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have:
- A positive, respectful attitude and excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and good timekeeping.
- The physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting 25lbs.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
- Safety boots are required for this role (company-provided eye and ear protection).
A forklift licence and some previous experience in a factory or manufacturing setting are advantageous but not essential, as full on-the-job training will be provided.
