Key Responsibilities
- Install gas fires and wood burners, as well as handle all aspects of gas fitting across commercial and domestic environments.
- Work on a variety of projects including maintenance, renovations, and new builds, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service and clear explanations of work being performed.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems independently or as part of a team, using strong technical knowledge and practical skills.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship, ensuring all installations and repairs are completed safely and to code.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver projects on time and to the highest quality.
Qualifications
New Zealand Registered or ideally Certified Gasfitter status is required. Experience with plumbing would be an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as this is a customer facing role. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team are important. A full Class 1 NZ driver’s licence is required. Applicants must be residing in New Zealand and have NZ citizenship or residency.
