Key Responsibilities
Crop Cultivation and Field Management:
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest a diverse range of crops including fruits, vegetables, grains, and forage crops throughout the Ontario growing season, following the farm’s established planting schedules, cultivation protocols, and harvest timing guidelines to support healthy crop development and consistent marketable yield across all growing areas
- Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery including tractors, plows, irrigation systems, and other implements safely and competently across all assigned crop production activities, following correct operating procedures and performing basic operator maintenance to keep the equipment fleet in safe and productive working condition throughout the season
