Protech is seeking experienced Construction Workers, Labourers, and Plant Operators for immediate start on civil, road construction, maintenance, and asphalt projects. These roles involve hands-on work, operating machinery, and supporting various maintenance activities. Positions may require travel and working away on certain projects, offering excellent hourly rates and the opportunity to gain diverse experience across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform road maintenance, asphalt labouring, and vegetation management tasks.
• Operate heavy mobile plant equipment, including excavators, rollers, FELs, and skid steers (for licensed operators).
• Assist with road signage maintenance and general site tasks.
• Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Work on various roster patterns, including 5-2 or 10-4, and accommodate project travel as required.
• Maintain work areas, machinery, and tools in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualificatons

• Previous civil construction or maintenance experience (mandatory for labouring roles).
• Mobile plant tickets for excavator, roller, FEL, or skid steer (mandatory for plant operator roles).
• HR licence preferred.
• Physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work away from home when required.
