What You Will Be Doing
- You will operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
- You will provide professional customer service at every interaction.
- You will receive and relay information to central dispatch, keeping communication clear and accurate.
- You will assemble, install, and set up merchandise or products as required.
- You will keep detailed records of items received and delivered.
- You will prepare, package, and restock goods for transport.
- You will load and unload goods, handling weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- You will sort packages for delivery according to route and schedule.
- You will record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
- You will perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of vehicle safety and maintenance.
- You will work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as required.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
- 3 to less than 5 years of experience in truck driving or related delivery work.
- Criminal record check clearance.
- Own cellular phone for communication.
