Key Responsibilities
As a Truck Driver in Canada, you will be entrusted with the safe and efficient transport of goods. Your core responsibilities will include:

- Conducting thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Properly securing and loading cargo in accordance with all safety standards.
- Maintaining accurate records of driving hours, delivery schedules, and vehicle logs using electronic logging devices (ELDs).
- Communicating professionally with dispatch to report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents.

- Following all federal and provincial transportation laws, including strict adherence to Hours of Service rules.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this LMIA-sponsored position, you must meet the following requirements:
- A valid commercial driver’s licence equivalent to a Canadian Class 1 or AZ licence.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A clean driving record with no major violations.
- A good command of the English language (spoken, written, and reading); French language skills are an asset.
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle long driving hours and occasional loading/unloading duties.
- Strong time management, navigation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and route planning tools.
- Experience in long-haul or regional trucking is highly preferred.
