Key Responsibilities

In this multifaceted technical role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of fleet components. Your key duties will include:

• Performing scheduled maintenance, inspections, and unscheduled repairs on rolling stock mechanical systems.
• Conducting fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and implementing effective solutions across various disciplines, which may include mechanical assemblies, pneumatic-hydraulic systems, basic electrical connections, plumbing, and welding repairs.
• Reading and interpreting technical manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics to guide work procedures.
• Ensuring all work is completed in strict compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and quality assurance protocols.
• Collaborating closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient workshop and depot operations.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and tests conducted.

Qualifications

We are looking for a technically proficient and reliable individual with the following profile:

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a relevant technical field such as mechanical fitting, plumbing, welding, or electrical work within an industrial, automotive, or rail environment.
• Proven experience as a Rolling Stock or Fleet Technician is a significant advantage.
• A strong practical understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools.
• A proactive, safety-first mindset and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Education level is not a primary barrier; we value practical experience and a strong work ethic above formal qualifications.
• Proficiency in Cantonese is required; knowledge of English is beneficial for technical documentation.
