Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic position, you’ll be the face of Vending Direct on your route, ensuring every machine is performing perfectly. Your key duties will include:

• Preparing and loading your work van with the necessary stock and supplies each morning.
• Travelling to various locations across the Lower North Island to service vending machines.
• Ensuring machines are clean, fully stocked, operational, and presenting a positive image.
• Handling cash collection, performing minor repairs, and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
• Providing excellent, friendly service to site contacts and building positive customer relationships.
• Assisting with the installation and setup of new vending machines as required.

Qualifications

To ensure safety and reliability in this role, all applicants must meet these essential criteria:

• Hold a current, clean New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Be a New Zealand Citizen, hold a relevant work visa, or a current work permit if a student.
• Agree to and pass a criminal history check and an ACC check.
• Pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including a drug and alcohol test.
• Possess a reliable work history and a strong, self-motivated work ethic.
