 Key Responsibilities
Your core responsibility will be to conduct precise and reliable non-destructive tests on welded components.
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on welds using a variety of methods, including Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Radiographic Testing (RT).
- Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment correctly and safely for each testing procedure.
- Interpret and evaluate test results according to relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed technical reports documenting test procedures, findings, and conclusions.
- Maintain testing equipment and ensure all NDT activities comply with strict safety and quality protocols.
Qualifications
This is a specialized role requiring specific technical education and professional certifications.
- You must possess a Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Professional certification is mandatory. You must hold PCN or ASNT Level 2 certification in MT, PT, UT, and RT.
