Key Responsibilities
In this essential role, you will ensure our residents’ clothing and linens are cared for with the utmost respect and attention, supporting the smooth daily rhythm of village life.
- Manage the complete laundry process for village linen and residents’ personal clothing, from collection through to washing, drying, sorting, and timely return.
- Operate all laundry equipment efficiently and safely, adhering to our high standards for fabric care and cleanliness.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure every item is handled correctly and returned to its rightful owner.
- Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and hygiene throughout the laundry facility for the protection of everyone in our community.
- Work collaboratively and supportively with your colleagues across the village household team to deliver exceptional service.

- To be eligible for this position, you must have current legal working rights in New Zealand.
- While full training is provided, any previous experience in a similar laundry, hospitality, or care-focused role is beneficial.
