Company Overview
Welcome to the Greater Changhua Wind Farm, a landmark project in offshore wind energy. You will be part of a pioneering Operations Team that lives and works aboard a state-of-the-art Service Operations Vessel (SOV) on a two-week on/two-week off rotation. Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our offshore team, you will play a hands-on role in maintaining our wind farm. Your key duties will include:
- Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, as well as advanced troubleshooting on all wind turbine systems.
- Preparing and packing all necessary spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient and safe maintenance operations.
- Upholding the highest safety standards, driving a positive safety culture through your actions and maintaining your personal safety equipment in perfect condition.
- Utilizing software systems to accurately log daily work, including hours, parts used, and detailed technical reports.
- Actively participating in a robust training program covering competency, safety, technique, and company procedures.
Qualifications
We are looking for a resilient and team-oriented individual who is ready for a unique career adventure. The ideal candidate will have:
- A mechanical or electrical education, or a relevant industry background.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin (a TOEIC score of 600+ is a strong advantage).
- A strong team spirit with the ability to build great relationships with colleagues and partners.
- The willingness and ability to live and work offshore on a two-week on/off shift pattern, away from home.
- An aptitude for working at heights and in confined spaces, with the physical and mental fitness required for an offshore environment.
