Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems
- Conduct routine inspections, diagnose potential problems, and execute repairs as needed
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems
- Review assigned work orders and ensure timely completion using available tracking systems
- Support energy management initiatives by maintaining efficient system operations
- Inspect installations for compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
- Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward technical problems and communicate clearly with the team
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
- Basic understanding of preventive maintenance practices and repair procedures
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to follow established routines and procedures
- Good communication skills for clear exchange of information with colleagues and supervisors
