Key Responsibilities
Your days will be varied and engaging, combining warehouse precision with hands-on horticulture. Key duties across these roles include:
- Accurately picking and packing plant orders for dispatch to customers.
- Assisting with potting, weeding, harvesting, and preparing stock for sale.
- Labelling plants and ensuring orders are correctly assembled and packaged.
- Performing general nursery and warehouse duties, including manual handling of plants and materials.
- Working across both indoor propagation areas and outdoor growing fields in all weather conditions.
- Contributing to a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Qualifications
We are looking for reliable individuals who are eager to learn and contribute. The right fit will have:
- A genuine interest in plants, gardening, or horticulture.
- A reliable, punctual nature and a strong team-oriented attitude.
- The physical fitness to perform manual tasks and work on your feet both indoors and outdoors.
- Your own reliable transport to get to various nursery locations.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for following orders and labels.
- While prior nursery hand or pick-packing experience is a bonus, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
