Key Responsibilities
You will be the friendly face of Canada Post, providing essential services to the public. Your duties will include:
- Providing counter services, selling postal products, and assisting customers with their shipping and mailing needs.
- Sorting, distributing, and processing incoming and outgoing mail accurately.
- Offering information, forms, and guidance to customers on postal services and regulations.
- Helping to resolve delivery inquiries or service issues promptly and professionally.
- Handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate retail accounting.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or provincial equivalency.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and French) is an imperative requirement for this position.
- Experience in a customer service or retail environment, including cash handling.
- The physical ability to lift containers up to 50 lb, stand for extended periods, and perform sorting duties.
- Flexibility for temporary, on-call work schedules.
- A strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
