In this critical role, you will be responsible for the precision cleaning of vital components, such as Reaction Wheels and Electron rocket parts, within our pristine cleanroom environment. Key Responsibilities

You will be entrusted with a vital part of our manufacturing process. Your core duties will include:

  • Performing precision cleaning of critical mechanical components to exacting standards.
  • Inspecting cleaned items meticulously to ensure they meet all specifications.
  • Working within a pristine, controlled cleanroom environment.
  • Supporting the development and refinement of new cleaning processes.
  • Adhering to strict safety and quality protocols at all times.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a keen eye and a commitment to excellence. You will bring:

  • A high level of attention to detail and the ability to work to extremely precise standards.
  • Good eyesight and a natural aptitude for meticulous work.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both in a team and autonomously.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Must be comfortable working the overnight shift (21:00 – 07:30), with a shift allowance provided.
  • The willingness and ability to learn complex new processes.

Note: For security and compliance with U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), eligibility to work in New Zealand on regulated technology requires citizenship of Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, an EU country, or a NATO country. Background checks will be conducted.
