Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the accurate and efficient management of all hotel deliveries. Your primary duties will include:
- Inspecting all incoming goods against purchase orders to verify correct quantity, specification, and quality, in coordination with relevant department heads.
- Ensuring every delivery is supported by a valid hotel purchase order and that all documentation (delivery orders, invoices) is complete and accurate.
- Promptly routing received goods to the main stores or directly to the requesting department to maintain operational flow.
- Meticulously documenting all outgoing goods, such as returns or transfers, ensuring proper authorization and records.
- Proactively following up with the Purchasing Department on any pending, back-ordered, or partial deliveries.
- Maintaining accurate daily logs and generating necessary receiving reports for the finance and management teams.
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate who embodies accuracy and professionalism:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar receiving or stores role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality finance environment.
- An exceptionally detail-oriented and meticulous approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors, drivers, and various hotel departments.
- High personal motivation, integrity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- The capacity to work accurately under pressure in our fast-paced operational environment.
- Good physical fitness for handling and checking goods.
