Key Responsibilities

Your day will be dynamic and essential to our smooth operation. You will be the backbone of our kitchen’s cleanliness and organization.

• Operate and maintain key equipment, including industrial dishwashing machines, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.
• Thoroughly wash, disinfect, and sanitize all kitchen wares, utensils, tools, and work areas using established 3-compartment sink procedures.
• Manage the flow of clean and soiled items, inspecting for quality and ensuring everything is stored in its designated place.
• Receive and properly store deliveries, paying close attention to the correct rotation of stock and perishables.
• Maintain the trash and recycling areas, including breaking down cardboard and disposing of glass responsibly.
• Ensure the entire kitchen and storeroom environment is spotless by completing cleaning and mopping schedules.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and contribute to our team. No prior experience is necessary we will provide the training you need to succeed.

• A strong work ethic and a keen eye for cleanliness and detail.
• The physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg), and perform tasks involving bending and twisting.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to develop supportive working relationships with colleagues.
• A commitment to following all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
