Key Responsibilities

You’ll be the face of our store, ensuring customers have a positive experience while maintaining our operational excellence:

  • Provide friendly, engaging service while helping customers make informed purchasing decisions
  • Strictly comply with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act and Host Responsibility policies at all times
  • Process customer payments accurately using our POS system and handle cash responsibly
  • Maintain store presentation by restocking shelves, labeling products, and ensuring correct pricing
  • Support the Store Manager with stock ordering, inventory counts, and daily banking procedures
  • Open and close the premises while following all security protocols
  • Develop strong product knowledge to make genuine recommendations to customers

 Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who bring the right attitude and commitment:

  • Current LCQ certification is essential for this role
  • 6-12 months of retail experience is preferred, but we’ll train the right candidate
  • Friendly, approachable personality with natural ability to connect with people
  • Physical fitness for standing, lifting, and moving stock as required
  • Reliability and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work variable roster including nights and weekends
  • Must have valid right to work in New Zealand
