Key Responsibilities
- Receiving Goods:Â Receive, unpack, and accurately record incoming goods and materials, checking them against delivery documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment:Â Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders with a strong focus on accuracy and timely delivery to meet customer expectations.
- Warehouse Maintenance:Â Maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe, and organised manner, ensuring all aisles and storage areas are clear and accessible.
- Inventory Management:Â Assist with regular stock takes and inventory management tasks, helping to maintain accurate stock records and identify discrepancies.
- Customer Service:Â Provide excellent customer service to both internal stakeholders and external customers, answering queries and resolving issues professionally.
- Safety Compliance:Â Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, promoting a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Equipment Operation:Â Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently as required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehousing or distribution role is essential for this position. You must have excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is important, along with good communication and interpersonal skills. A forklift licence and or experience operating warehouse equipment is required. An understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse processes will be highly regarded.
