Key Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and plan Civil and Structural engineering works in accordance with project requirements, ensuring all designs are safe, efficient, and compliant.
  • Prepare design calculations, drawings, and manage all relevant Authority submissions, ensuring timely approval and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure timely submission of plans, reports, and documentation to consultants and regulatory authorities, maintaining accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and other trades including M&E and architectural teams to resolve technical issues and align project specifications.
  • Support project coordination and oversee structural and civil works on site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Attend technical meetings, coordination meetings, and site walks during the construction phase, preparing meeting minutes when required to document decisions and action items.
  • Monitor and maintain records for test reports, site tests, ST submissions, Green Mark requirements, and constructability compliance.

Qualifications

A diploma or degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Building, or related disciplines is required. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience as a Structural Coordinator in A1 Main Contractor environments, preferably with exposure to hospital or condominium projects. A strong understanding of structural specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements is essential.
