Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of our Support Services team, you will provide integral assistance across our facility. Your role will involve:
- Providing essential support across cleaning, kitchen, and laundry services to maintain a high standard of living for our residents.
- Working collaboratively with the care team to ensure the physical environment supports the holistic well-being and comfort of residents.
- Performing a variety of tasks as assigned, which may include laundry processing, light cleaning duties, or kitchen assistance, always with a focus on resident dignity and safety.
- Maintaining a positive, helpful, and respectful attitude in all interactions with residents, their families, and fellow team members.
- Being flexible and reliable, working across a variety of shifts between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm, including weekends and evenings as required.
Qualifications
We are looking for compassionate individuals with the right attitude and availability. The ideal candidate will have:
- A genuine desire to contribute to a caring environment for the elderly.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- The ability and willingness to work a flexible 7-day roster, with availability for both morning and afternoon shifts.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is a mandatory requirement for this position.
- Previous experience in aged care or a similar support role is considered an advantage but is not essential.
