Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve ensuring our hotel’s engineering systems operate flawlessly to support an unparalleled guest experience. Key duties include:

  • Conducting repair, maintenance, and diagnostic work across all plant rooms, equipment, and hotel areas, upholding the highest standards of safety and condition.
  • Strictly adhering to all Fire, Life, Health, Safety, Security & Environment (FLHSS&E) standards and being fully familiar with our hotel emergency procedures.
  • Providing courteous, professional, and prompt assistance to guests and fellow colleagues whenever needed, representing our engineering department with pride.
  • Executing tasks as outlined in the hotel’s Planned Maintenance Programme and ensuring all related logbooks and records are accurately maintained.
  • Supporting energy conservation initiatives and assisting in monitoring the performance of building systems to suggest improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Coordinating repair work for guest rooms and public areas, liaising with other departments and external contractors as required.
  • Setting up audio and video equipment for hotel functions and events.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who possesses:

  • A minimum of a higher certificate in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least two years of relevant hands-on work experience in a technical maintenance role.
  • A valid Electrical Worker License; possession of a Grade ‘A’ license is a significant advantage.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills in Chinese/Cantonese, with a basic command of English.
  • The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Foundational computer skills for record-keeping and system monitoring.
  • Additional qualifications that will make your application stand out:
  • Holding a Fire Tube Boiler License and possessing practical knowledge of engineering plants and boiler operations.
