Key Responsibilities
- Perform on‑site support and maintenance of computer‑based control and electronic equipment, as well as extra‑low voltage apparatus such as Access Control Systems and Video Surveillance Systems.
- Assist in quality control, testing, and fault inspection of the same equipment, ensuring all systems operate reliably and meet performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with hardware and electronic components, implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime.
- Document maintenance activities, test results, and inspection findings accurately, contributing to a comprehensive record of system health.
- Work closely with the engineering team to support system upgrades, modifications, and commissioning tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Travel to various sites within the Ap Lei Chau area, with transportation provided, to carry out assigned duties.
Qualifications
A Higher Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related discipline is required. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in the operation or maintenance of engineering system hardware or electronic equipment. Experience with large‑scale engineering control systems is an advantage. A Registered Electrical Worker Grade A license is an advantage, as is a valid Class 1 driving license. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
