TIG Welder Required In Australia

PWR is looking for experienced Aluminum TIG Welders to join our team. This is a role for precision welders who take pride in their craft working on heat exchangers, radiators, intercoolers, oil coolers, and other complex components for the motorsport and aerospace industries. What You’ll Be Doing

• Welding, fabricating, and assembling PWR products: You’ll work on heat exchangers, radiators, intercoolers, oil coolers, and other complex components, primarily using Aluminum TIG welding.
•  You’ll get various cores and assemblies ready for dispatch, making sure everything meets our standards.
• You’ll check your work and materials against established operational standards—quality is everyone’s responsibility
• Some days you’ll work on your own; other days you’ll collaborate with the team. You may also mentor apprentices when needed.
• You’ll use lifting gear incidental to your work, following all safety protocols.
• When something isn’t working, you’ll figure out why and find a solution.
• You’ll need to balance accuracy and attention to detail with the need to get work out on time.
• Safety and organisation are part of the job, every day.

What You’ll Need

• Significant experience welding 1.2mm to 3mm aluminum this is essential.
• Ability to weld fine-grade aluminum with precision and control.
• Experience reading and interpreting detailed 2D drawings accurately.
• A good understanding of jig and fixture utilisation for accuracy is highly regarded.
• Experience welding heat exchangers for motorsport or aerospace industries is highly regarded.
• The ability to meet tight timeframes while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to remain calm and focused in a high-pressure environment.
