Key Responsibilities
As an owner driver, you’ll be responsible for completing delivery runs efficiently and professionally.
- Complete full-time delivery runs across Newcastle and surrounding areas, following permanent routes.
- Deliver mostly B2C consignments to residential customers, ensuring parcels are handled with care and delivered on time.
- Load and unload your vehicle safely, securing loads in line with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the dispatch team.
- Provide exceptional customer service at every stop, representing the company professionally.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance requirements, including vehicle maintenance and road regulations.
Schedule
- Days:Â Monday to Friday
- Hours:Â Approximately 40 hours per week
- Start:Â Immediate start available
Qualifications and Experience
We’re looking for owner drivers with the right vehicle, credentials, and a commitment to reliability.
Essential Requirements:
- A Long Wheelbase 2-Tonne Van in good working condition.
- Current ABN and ACN (or willingness to obtain).
- Full Australian working rights.
- A valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle.
- Previous delivery or courier driving experience is highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of the Newcastle area and surrounding regions.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

- Experience with B2C deliveries.

Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $42 – $46 per hour (depending on run)
