Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on role, no two days are the same. You will be involved in a diverse range of tasks essential to warehouse operations, with a strong focus on quality control. Your key duties will include:

• Accurately picking and packing furniture orders using paper-based systems (pick-to-paper).
• Performing manual handling tasks such as palletising stock, strapping, and shrink-wrapping pallets.
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers by hand, and consolidating pallets for dispatch.
• Checking final paperwork against outgoing orders to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Performing general warehouse duties, including cleaning and organising workspaces.
• When required, assembling flat-pack furniture using hand and power tools by following assembly plans.

Qualifications

To be successful in this fast-paced environment, you will need:

• Solid experience in warehouse labouring, pick packing, or a similar hands-on role.
• Proven skills in palletising, shrink-wrapping, and dispatch/receiving processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail accuracy is critical as errors can render products unsellable.
• Excellent understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures.
• The physical capability for manual handling and team lifts of items up to 20kg.
• Experience in furniture assembly, using power tools, or a forklift license (LF) are significant advantages and can lead to a higher pay rate.
