Key Responsibilities
In this diverse role, no two days will be the same. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily warehouse logistics: receiving full container shipments, processing outbound orders, and conducting regular stocktakes.
- Accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Safely moving and handling heavy items using equipment like hand trolleys, pallet jacks, and potentially a forklift.
- Sorting and stacking pallets to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse.
- Providing friendly, direct customer service in our retail space, assisting with inquiries, and processing in-person sales.
- Supporting inventory management through our digital systems and reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
We’re looking for a proactive team player who brings both skill and a great attitude. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory-focused role.
- The physical capability to safely lift, move, and handle heavy items on a regular basis.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment; a forklift licence is a strong advantage, but not essential for the right candidate with a willingness to learn.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory or warehouse management systems.
- Excellent self-motivation, time management, and organizational skills.
- A friendly, positive personality with solid communication skills for both team collaboration and direct customer interaction.
