Welders and Fabricators Required In Australia

Oxworks, Australia’s largest privately owned manufacturer and distributor of quality fencing products, is looking for an experienced Welder-Fabricator to join our Manufacturing Team in Crestmead. This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, with overtime available when things get busy. What the Role Involves

You’ll be actively involved in the day-to-day manufacturing activities, focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. Every piece needs to be produced within approved tolerances.
You’ll interpret drawings generated in AutoCAD, TEKLA, and EXCEL, then produce high-quality finished products according to each work order.
The goal is 100% DIFOT (Delivered In Full, On Time) every workday, while minimising errors and reworks.
You’ll handle daily maintenance and cleaning of machinery to keep operations running smoothly and minimise downtime.
You’ll follow standard operating procedures to reduce costs and improve productivity.
You’ll promote teamwork within the Manufacturing departments, making sure everyone’s working toward the same goal—exceeding customer expectations.
Safety compliance is non-negotiable. You’ll follow all safety protocols and help maintain a safe workplace.
You’ll contribute to a harmonious, can-do atmosphere that puts customer needs first.

What You’ll Need

Trade Certificate preferred but not essential if you’ve got the experience and skills, we want to hear from you.
Ability to read and understand complex drawings this is a key part of the role.
Experience operating and maintaining welding machinery.
Current Driver’s Licence essential for getting to work.
Current Forklift Licence (Bonus) handy but not required.
Current First Aid Certificate (Bonus) always good to have.
Demonstrated experience working in a team environment within manufacturing.
Good communication skills you need to be able to work with others and understand instructions clearly.
