Key Responsibilities

As a professional solo driver for Butler, you’ll be entrusted with the safe and efficient transport of freight across our network. Your primary duties will include:

• Operating a late-model company tractor to haul freight over consistent, well-planned routes.
• Adhering strictly to all DOT regulations, company safety protocols, and hours-of-service requirements.
• Conducting meticulous pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly.
• Managing all required documentation and electronic logging with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintaining professional communication with dispatch and representing Butler with excellence at every customer location.
• Upholding our 100% no-touch freight policy, ensuring you focus on driving.

Qualifications

To join our team of professional drivers, we require:

• A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• A minimum of 12 months of recent, verifiable over-the-road driving experience.
• A clean driving history with no serious violations.
• The ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment screening process.
• A strong commitment to safety and professional conduct on the road.
